Our goal is to contribute to the efficient planning of sustainable development and maintain the balance between ecological, social, and economic values. Sertior is a woman-owned, environmental consulting firm that delivers strategic advisory services and technical expertise to assist clients with planning, permitting, and constructing their projects in diverse sectors, such as, real estate, infill, infrastructure, renewable energy, and aviation. Based in San Francisco, California, Sertior is certified with the State of California as a small business (SB) and as a small local business enterprise (SLBE) with the City and County of San Francisco.

We provide environmental planning services from the initial feasibility analysis and risk assessment of development projects, through the environmental impact analysis and compliance with relevant regulations and policies, to the project implementation and monitoring of identified mitigation measures.

Our team advises on the environmental review approach and identifies constraints relevant to the review and permitting process. We work with project engineers to modify and refine elements of projects where feasible to reduce potential for challenging permitting processes. We possess the expertise to assist our clients with the environmental review process in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and the World Bank Operational Policy 4.01.

The Sertior team combines a portfolio on the national and international level working with cities, counties, special districts, regulatory agencies, and private entities. Our international expertise includes developments lead by private entities as well as analyses and assessment for international organizations, such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
